Service ringing was maintained during the early part of the year with the help of ringers from Standon, Much Hadham and Stansted. However the latter part of the year has seen the training group ringers improve sufficiently to ring on Sunday mornings. It has been agreed that under the new service times the bells will be rung at the end of the 9 a.m. service and the beginning of the 10:30 a.m. service.
The ringing for weddings has been maintained with the help of ringers from Stansted and Standon. However, it is planned to introduce training group ringers to weddings ringing during the current year.
The U3A training group are proving to be a useful addition to the tower and we have recruited two ladies from the congregation.
