 St James' Web Site

'At St James’ it is important to us that the pattern of services continues to support the diversity of worship that we all value highly. In fact this diversity makes us somewhat unique, and is a great strength of the Parish. We also continue to alternate between Eucharistic services and non-Eucharistic services, ensuring there is always at least one Eucharistic service on a Sunday morning. So what has changed?

We have changed the number of services and the timing of services. Each Sunday morning we offer 2 services, the first at 9 o’clock and held in the Church, the second at 10:30 in the St Barnabas Centre.

For more information look at the 'Our services' page of this web site.

Election results from our Annual Vestry Meeting and Annual Parochiual Church Meeting held on Sunday, 13th April:

Churchwardens, elected to serve for one year, Maureen Hargrave and John Clark

PCC Representatives, elected to serve for three years, Mike King, Linda Greenwood and Nigel Blair-Park

Deanery Synod Representatives, elected to serve for three years, Lesley Parker, Mary Howard, Katharine Roper and Toby Braddick

And the Web site? We are currently reviewing everything! The information is currently being uopdated and out of date pictures, etc removed. So please bear with us. The project should be completed by the end of September.
