St. James' Ladies' Group: The Ladies' Group attracts women of all ages and interests. They have fun as they meet with, and make, friends. Meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Activities include going out for a meal, or a walk to a pub; craft, beauty and exercise evenings. Suggestions from members are always welcome. If you would like to come along to meet them check the diary for their next event, or contact Gillian Warren via the church office for more information.
Men of St James': The men's fellowship organises informal meetings, outings, sporting events and various other activities through which new friendships may be formed. Friends, neighbours and work colleagues are welcome at all our events as one of our aims is to encourage interaction between the men of St James' and the non-Christians amongst whom we live and work. We also aim to encourage one another in our work and business. Our meetings take place on the 1st Monday of the month and advance notice is usually given in the Church pew leaflet. Contact Mike Adams for information about our programme, and John Wrentmore if you are interested in taking part in any of our football sessions.
Companions: If you are single, separated, divorced or widowed this is an opprtunity for you to expand your network of friends. It's not a dating agency but provides a variety of events, from walks to theatre trips, at which you can meet a variety of people. Check the diary for their next event, or contact Jeanette Bertram via the church office for more information.
Prayer Lunches: These are held on the first Tuesday of each month in the St. Barnabas Centre from 12.30 to 2.00pm. They are an opportunity for fellowship, for encouraging and praying for one another and one another's families. Children are welcome and stay with the adults. Just turn up with your packed lunch!
